Shift Your Beliefs at the Subconscious Level
Shift Your Beliefs at the Subconscious Level
Like many I grew up fascinated with The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, but I also found (like many) that my positive affirmations weren't producing results. Was I doing something wrong? Was there some other secret about The Secret that was being withheld from me? It wasn't until I stumbled across a YouTube video (link below) from the cell biologist Bruce Lipton, PhD when I learned that we have a conscious and a subconscious mind. Lipton explains that the subconscious has a processing power 1-million times more powerful than that of the conscious mind. He also explains that we only use the conscious mind about 5% of the day, and for about 95% of the day our lives are run by the subconscious mind. This is when I realized that working with the conscious mind alone is not enough to bring about any substantial change in my life. I needed access to my subconscious mind.
In the video below Lipton describes that by crossing the arms and the legs that you can activate brain synchronization. After some research into brain synchronization, I stumbled across a pioneer in the field of Bioenergetics by the name of Wayne Cook. Cook studied the energy fields of the human body and he discovered exercises that proved to be effective for the treatment of learning disabilities. He referred to these exercises as "Whole Brain Learning". I decided to try some of these exercises and combine them with my positive affirmations. At first I started to notice subtle differences in my behavior. For example, I no longer struggled with certain things that had always been difficult for me. After years of using these exercises I decided to share what I learned in my book, Change Your Mind, currently available through Amazon and my online store.
